Loved that he understood her value too late and there was no turning back. Bu çiftin önüne dizinin sonuna kadar engel olarak çıkacaklarını düşünüyorum. Thank you for the recaps LollyPip and girlfriday! Bu dizi bana göre değil gibi sanki:hmm:Sen ve annen iyi misiniz? In fact, I loved those cliches too. You two said what I wanted to say and more so much better than I ever could have, especially your last lign here, girlfriday, ha. Definitely worth a watch and a rewatch! Everyone has a different connection and they aren't bonded as a group but more so individually. No extended angst and pure fun. They know firsthand just how badly marriages can go but even so, they're still willing to give it a try and try their best to love and support each other despite whatever twists life may throw at them.Next
Awesome recap and comments for the series. I'm just so happy that this show remained true to itself until the end. You guys made it so fun watching it and i like that even tho there are differing opinions theres never a comment war here. With everything else showing now. And that thing with the letter - what gives him the right to open her mother's private letter, read the contents, steal it, and then refuse to let her daughter see it? But I believe that even though he did a lot of growing, Ki-tae still stayed essentially himself through the course of the show… he simply learned how to turn his protective instincts to the people he loves rather than keep it all for himself. Maybe is not a perfect drama but the crazy second lead and the flaws here and there never made me abandon it, because I was so in love with the good stuff that I could pass through that. But the acting was also very poor - both characters were played by idols, with little acting experience, and it showed.Next
Marriage Not Dating was a relative success for tvN it reached a high of 4. But I am beginning to love Korean culture and actors. But what I loved most was the way he proposed! Ki-tae and Jang-mi enjoy a candlelit bubble bath together the night before their wedding. Benim bahsettiğim dizi başlayalı bayağı bir zaman geçti. The actors did a fabulous job with these roles and they've definitely put those two on the map for me.Next
I was relieved Show didn't go down the cliche path of Jang Mi being pregnant when she threw up because I did not want a child to be a factor in his marriage proposal. Their pheremones must feel confused! This last episode is my favourite I think, mostly because the family ties are so well addressed rather than sugar coated. But all in all this is still the best romcom drama for me. Usually, guests wait until after they get some alcohol in their system before they create a scene at your wedding, but nope, this was all sober. It shows that when she has something in mind she commits wholeheartedly to accomplish it. It was short, cute and touching.Next
Jang-mi climbs into bed with her mom and promises to be her life partner and never leave her. None of us live in a vacuum and, good or bad, our families shape and define who we are. I think that in part, Marriage Not Dating was so enjoyable because the lead actors were easy to relate to, not just because of their flaws, but also because they looked like normal people. Yeo-reum approaches them and grabs Ki-tae in a bear-hug when Ki-tae pouts that he only greeted Jang-mi. Everyone felt organic rather than puppets controlled by a master. It had it's missteps here and there, but, all in all, it did everything I wanted it to and then some. I love Sunhwa and Jinwoon but omg their characters are so annoying.
The ending left me wanting more, idk I just didn't like the ending that much even though that kiss was amazing. What a perfect wedding hahaha! This was such an unexpectedly heartfelt drama that I will miss. And yay for a show that uses more than the main leads in an effective way. I would've liked to have seen Jang Mi and Ki Tae's Mom enjoying a newfound bond with one another on this ep. They and every single wedding guest look to where Se-ah is sitting, looking very cuddly with the 3D technology sales rep on her arm.Next
I am super glad however, that Gi Tae's mom was able to get the treatment she deserved all these years, and that Gi Tae's Dad didn't get a free for all happy ending just because he was the main character's father. Instead, I'll just say the reason I love them so much is because Yeon Woo-jin and Han Groo are just so good at portraying them. Thank you everyone for the recaps and the fun discussions here on dramabeans! Definitely the breakout stars of the year for me. I think it has something to do with how honest and realistic the story is and how relatable the characters are and the situations that they go through. They commiserate over how hard it is to be around women who have to talk everything out, while men just get each other without speaking. It was just plain heartwarming, and hilarious and insightful towards the end. Yeon Woo Jin is so damn charming in the show, so much so that I wanna get a Ki-tae myself.Next
And finally Ki-tae and Jang-mi. Jang-mi says she likes the small tub, and they canoodle as she says in voiceover that at that point, they still trusted each other. I cannot express how much I adore all the cute facial expressions Ki Tae makes. Some parts may get dragging and frustrating though somewhere towards the latter half of the show but overall, I would say it's a pretty good drama. Crying and hugging each other, leaving cheating dad gobsmacked whilst they celebrate living together hahaha. Instead of giving Jang-mi personal satisfaction, this just led to her being dismissed and overlooked by her friends and family. But I can probably go on forever.
I love this show and I hope that those who haven't seen it yet will give it a try. I super loved that Mom, Grandma, and Aunt were equally thrilled about staying together and giving Dirtbag the boot. I am very very very sad and I am now having withdrawals that this show has ended. Seriously, those two are amazing. I'm going to miss this show so much, especially the lead couple.
. Han Groo was a guest on an old episode of Strong Heart where she revealed she debuted at 4 years old and talked about her boss Joo Young Hoon. Story: I gave it an 8 since the plot isn't any groundbreaking and I admit the description for this drama is cliche but when you get into the drama itself, it was so refreshing. A guy wants to stay single while his family mostly his mom threatens to get him married. Other name: ; ; ; ; Country: Genres: , , Date aired: Jul 4, 2014 to Aug 23, 2014 Status: Completed Views: 2,585,899 Summary: Wealthy plastic surgeon Gong Ki Tae is a successful and happy bachelor who does not want to find himself a wife. I feel like I've said everything I wanted to about how great they are together and as individuals. It was what started me watching.Next
